T.E. Foerster Handmade Mugs

Out There Outfitters is proud to be supporting local ceramicist, Eliot Foerster. He is a young ceramicist who grew up in Newtown Square, PA and now lives in South Philadelphia. Eliot studied art at Colby Sawyer College in NH and has also taken classes at the Wayne Art Studio and Penland School of Crafts. He is also an active member of the Wayne community--he runs the kilns at Wayne's Color Me Mine and works at The Wayne Art Center. Eliot is the older brother of OTO employee, Elise Foerster. As a small family run business, we are happy to include his pieces at our shop and wish him much success!

We are currently selling Eliot's beautiful, dusk blue, mugs. They are both aesthetically pleasing and  comfortable to hold. He has mixed the glaze himself to create many unique shades of blue. He also dug his own clay from a local apple orchard. Eliot says, "It is important to me to take part in as many aspects of the creation process as I can."

So come on in and check out Eliot's awesome mugs! They are perfect for enjoying hot drinks as this winter weather continues into the spring and would make a great Mother's Day(May 11th) gift! We also invite you to like Eliot's new official facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/tefoersterceramics

Horny Toad Rotating Stock Program

Here at Out There Outfitters we are happy to welcome SPRING!!! We have finally received at least the first shipment of spring attire from all of our favorite brands. The shop is now bursting with color!

A store favorite for casual summer styles is of course, Horny Toad. This season they had so many great looks that we could not even fit everything in the store! Thus, we would like to introduce you to the Horny Toad Rotating Stock Program. This means that select styles form Horny Toad will only be featured at OTO for a limited time. At the end of the allotted time period we will send these styles back to Horny Toad and receive new items. This will happen 3 more times before the end of the spring/summer season.

Right now we are featuring several different men's and women's styles. First, we have the Sundowner Pant in True Khaki. These light weight men's khakis are perfect for a summer night on the town! They have a drawstring inside the waistband to insure the best fit and comfort. We also have the men's Liftoff Shirt in Brenton Blue. This is an extremely breezy, long-sleeved organic cotton button down, perfect for layering over a tee or on its own. If you are into layering, that brings us to our last men's item, the Toad Roots Tee. We merchandised this tee under the Liftoff Shirt and it looks great, but you could also wear it on its own to display the awesome graphic on the back! The intricate tree design has a toad and the words "Horny Toad" hidden among the roots.

For women we have some stellar items as well! The women's Joyride Pant in Swamp Green is perfect for going from any adventure to whatever comes next. They have slim legs and just enough stretch to make these pants appropriate for any en devour. Next the Tankover in Paradise, which is like a deep coral. Coral is an extremely popular color for spring across the board. This tank top has elegant double straps on each side and a band around the waist to make this lose fit top more flattering. Finally, the the Souffle Hoddie in Smoke, is made of the same super soft, organic cotton, as the men's Liftoff Shirt. However, instead of a button down, it is a zippered hoodie. These pieces come together to make a very cute outfit!

So, if you are as excited about spring as we are, we hope you come in to check out all our new stuff. Also, make sure to ask us about our Horny Toad Rotating Stock Program. Currently, these pieces are displayed on our front table but that may not always be the case and there are lot's of great things you don't want to miss!
