T.E. Foerster Handmade Mugs
Out There Outfitters is proud to be supporting local ceramicist, Eliot Foerster. He is a young ceramicist who grew up in Newtown Square, PA and now lives in South Philadelphia. Eliot studied art at Colby Sawyer College in NH and has also taken classes at the Wayne Art Studio and Penland School of Crafts. He is also an active member of the Wayne community--he runs the kilns at Wayne's Color Me Mine and works at The Wayne Art Center. Eliot is the older brother of OTO employee, Elise Foerster. As a small family run business, we are happy to include his pieces at our shop and wish him much success!
We are currently selling Eliot's beautiful, dusk blue, mugs. They are both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to hold. He has mixed the glaze himself to create many unique shades of blue. He also dug his own clay from a local apple orchard. Eliot says, "It is important to me to take part in as many aspects of the creation process as I can."
So come on in and check out Eliot's awesome mugs! They are perfect for enjoying hot drinks as this winter weather continues into the spring and would make a great Mother's Day(May 11th) gift! We also invite you to like Eliot's new official facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/tefoersterceramics
